i wish I could have chosen multiple answers:
- no, it is not my place to do so
- no, it is not my office
- no, it would imply a less than professional doctor/patient relationship

However, I have commented on his office and the surroundings. We have had entire discussions on the art on the walls (which now includes a piece of my own).

I should point out though that while I would never move things around or make changes, I do grab the bull by the horns and sit down as per my choosing. He has several places to sit. Whereas he once directed me to one or the other of them, I now barge in and select whichever place I wish to sit. Sometimes he seems a little irritated I think. No matter, the session is about me, isn't it.
