I just saw an episode of Monk (Mr Monk & The Three Julies) where the therapist mentioned "Radical Cognitive Bonding". This is strictly an academic question, I don't suspect that I have it, as my mother is still alive.

I have seen total fiction in psychology before. For example, in High Anxiety Dr. Torndyke's mentor asks him "a patient comes into your office suffering from Belldon's Hysteria, and he has a seizure right in your office, what do you give him?"

There is no such thing as Belldon's hysteria, and there is a drug called Thorazine but it isn't used for seizures, and there's no such thing as aqueous Thoraine.

The point being, is there such a thing as "Radical Cognitive Bonding" or is it more Hollywood malarkey[sp?]?
