Yes, I think it is something like that, hope for relief and at the same time feeling scared of change.
I think it is a good sign. If I had behaved like as if it was irrelevant and felt nothing, that would perhaps be a sign of the opposite, that I didn't care. That it was all the same for me. These reactions, both emotional and physical, probably tell that I will be able to grow from psychotherapy. At least that is what I hope it means ....
