I did have a great deal of anxiety but it was entirely to do with my ability to care for the baby when it arrived. I couldn't afford to raise a child, I couldn't afford time off. I was working 72hrs a week until the week before I had her and was back before the month was out following.
Fast forward 31 years and this adult is amazing.
There is something perhaps you could do. Research what it is and the accompanying symptoms of your stage of pregnancy. Whatever you do, don't look for negative stories or symptoms. It is important to inundate yourself with positivity. Find yourself a group of other pregnant women, group support can be very helpful (not to mention these friendships often last after the births of the infants). Discuss this with your doctor, it is normal what you are feeling and he might be able to provide you with encouragement.
Again, this is normal to worry.
