The whole thing makes me sick to my tummy. Those poor children who were killed & their families. And the whole school, students and teachers have had their lives changed by the event & is something that will be with them forever now. Our kids should not have to worry about being attacked in school. Nobody should. I just can't imagine going back to the school after that. Until we find a way to keep weapons out of the hands of those who have no respect for fellow humans it won't stop. But it's more than that IMO. It's how mean, angry, hopeless, threatened, entitled, unfair, violent, sad etc. etc. our society is. It's so hard after violence not to feel like you have to do something to protect yourself, so I understand to a point that other kid thinking he needed to learn to shoot in an effort to not ever feel helpless in an attack, but putting it out there on social media . . . what did they expect to happen? Everyone is on edge and if you have a kid posting pics with a gun it's going to get a reaction. I don't know, the whole thing just freaks me out & brings back so many awful memories.
