YellowApple, prednisone makes me very jittery, like a stimulant. Prednisone can be very effective for allergic reactions (like asthma) in the short term. I hope you can find a different longterm solution for your asthma. (My sister takes a preventive medication for asthma in powder form with an inhaler and this helps prevent attacks from even starting.)
