I would say that definetly is me and my memory recall abilities. Totally no recall, or maybe a flash of one like looking at a photo still, distant and unattached.

I was like I remember my wedding...in bits and pieces without sound....just as the way the writer describes it, so in conclusion, this isn’t how memory is suppose to work of which I always thought was normal.

It’s good to have examples posted for it helps one in relating to if that’s how it is with them without the guess work. I try do it all the time describing my thinking process in hopes of relating to others or others to me.
