I also use Resolve. For me, it works pretty well if I really scrub the carpet with a stiff scrubber and hot water. But it's not amazing.

I wish I had a better answer for you...I've been in the situation and wasn't sure myself what to do to remove stains.

I also think of getting a Bissell pet spot treater. Might be your best bet.
