i have a dx of ptsd and panic disorder... my panic attacks are triggered by stress... and i had a major crisis hit over new years... anyway my panic attacks/ anxiety were worse then i have ever experienced them... right now i am on no meds...except i have xanax and i can take it when the panic attacks start, but the joy of it all is .... i can't always predict when that will be... so my t was really insistent that i call my med doc and get in for an appointment to discuss meds...well he is in hawaii...so he emailed his nurse and wants me to take abilify... when i googled it... i found out it is an anti psychotic... and is used to treat bipolar disorder and Schizophrenia... neither of which are what i am being treated for... so my question is has anyone heard of using abilify for panic attacks? i have been playing telephone tag with my t.
