I just use Spray and Wash laundry treatment on the carpet. I haven’t seen a need to go out and get anything else. I get as much up as I can of the stain with hand scrubbing, then vacuuming over the damp area gets the rest.

I had a steam cleaner for cat barf, but it set the stains. I didn’t know there was dye in cat food, so I buy dye-free pet food now. I have found all my problems were from the dye. I got rid of the steam cleaner.
