I just had a week long bout of psychosis myself. My therapist wanted me to go to the hospital but I kept refusing and since I wasn't in any danger to me or others he couldn't make me. So he asked permission to call my dr with me there. My dr increased my haldol and said to come in the next day. He assessed me the next day and said to keep taking the same dose of haldol and come back in two weeks. He did say if I got suicidal
I needed to go to the hospital. See the thing is I wasn't manic OR depressed-just in psychosis.
Ive gotten better now and I hope you feel better soon. It's been my experience if you're not harm to you or anyone else then usually you can work
