My toffee nosed cousin said that I was so anti-social. His female friends stepped in on my defence and said that I was maybe shy. I just felt out of my comfort zone. This wasn't the type of people I would choose to socialise with. The main reason was because I was acutely aware of my back round being the opposite side of the fence to nearly all of them. My mum and her brothers attitude to life could not have been more different.
