I don’t have problems with Seroquel doing that. At least, not the normal version. My pdoc tried me first on the XR version, and all I wanted to do on that stuff was eat and sleep. The instant release Seroquel has been a godsend for me. Usually, if I am not in a depression, I have energy to do things like go walking or shopping, can concentrate to read, do housework, etc., and I am not overly hungry. The XR version was a completely different story for me. I gained 20 lb. on it. On the instant release, I am struggling to keep weight on, though I understand this is not typical and many people gain weight on Seroquel. I am also an avid outdoor jogger/walker, so maybe that helps me too. I’m 5’4” and 101 lb., but I also have a history of an eating disorder, which sometimes skews things.
