As kids whenever we went shopping with our parents chances are my mum would get home and complain that she never got anything and that my dad never took her anywhere nice for her to wear something" dressy " We would all roll our eyes. But once when we were shopping my brother got new clothes in sports shop and my mum tried to make me go into a second hand shop. I was young and I refused . Why should my brother get good clothes and I had to settle ?
Back years ago, when I went to inverness with my Bro and sis (because they forgot my xmas present because I was In rehab which is understandable and boys always forget presents and anniversaries ) I knew on an unconscious level that I would just have fleeting thoughts of how well they were doing and it would sadden me if it were clothes. My Bro said he didn't think I would be in a shopping mood. I hadn't adjusted to meds either. My Bro had bought me trainers in hometown not long ago I could not accept again. And truthfully I wasn't working and I was only going out where I could dress casually.
