I was put on Abilify last week. Two weeks ago i got a dx of bipolar 1 with mixed episodes. My pdoc told me this med will help level off my mood swings. He said it will help with anxiety, but i wont feel the effects from that for at least a month or so. So, he put me back on clonozapem at 1mg 2x a day.

I also have depression, anxiety caused from ptsd.

I think you should call your doc back and demand something for anxiety. What i take is the generic for Klonopin(sp?), but i hear Ativan also is good too. Maybe see if your doc can get one of those for you.
