I've taken Zoloft for years for depression. It has helped a lot. I've had an experience late last year and early this year. From December to February, I've been physically ill with a sever cold and/or bronchitis and/or a mild version of the flu (had flu shot last year and didn't have any fever while ill from Dec to Feb.). I felt very ill at times during those months and went to emergency care and the regular doctor a few times. I got better in March of this year.

Something odd has happened since I got over my physical illness: I've been feeling down and depressed. Could the physical illnesses described caused some depression after I got better physically?

FWIW, I caught another cold a several days ago and have a sore throat.
