I reported for jury duty yesterday. My husband and friends acted like I was a sucker for not trying to get out of it. Phooey on them! I feel proud that I am able to function well enough to do my civic duty when called upon. I got chosen for the jury and ended up getting elected ad the jury Forman. How did this happen. Do I give off some kind of alpha chic vibe?

This tends to happen to me a lot. I think I’m quiet and introverted but when in a situation that calls for someone to facilitate I end up being the one called upon. Maybe I just need to remind myself that others don’t view me as harshly as I view myself. I guess I don’t have a big neon sign over my head proclaiming that I’m a total nut job.
