If a professional repeatedly insists that you are incorrect about an illness that you are certain that you experience every day of your life and have experienced for many years and maybe even since you were a very young child but, offers no information on what else the condition could be, is that psychological abuse?
This is not intendid as a passive aggesive attack.
This is a legitament question by a concerned and once again confused mental health patient.
It would be the same thing if a Christian preacher or missionary said that being a Christian and being afraid makes no sense because the Lord doesn't give the spirit of fear so, that fear is coming from somewhere else but, gives no information on where exactly that fear could be coming from and just leaves the sufferer wondering what is going on.
This also has happened to one when one was a Christian.
This sort of thing can be very confusing and bring about feelings of hopelessness and isolation.
So one asks again. Is this psychological abuse?
