I had 2800 calories. I have walked about 13,000 steps today. My wrist monitor tells me that this totals to 825 calories burned. Since I have found this value grossly inaccurate, the value needs to be adjusted. I need to find a way of approximating the actual calories burned, or some proxy of this.

I have researched this topic to find that all activity monitors will be significantly inaccurate with respect to calories burned, up to 20% or more calories in error. So to start this out, I will use only 80% of the original value. I think I will find that once my exersize becomes routine, I will be burning off close to the same amount of calories every day with respect to my exersize. So in this way, I will be able to better determine the calories burned since it will not be a moving target. I will exersze tomorrow too. I also need to once again begin the planning the next days menu. I will have more control over the calories I eat.
