There is always fear of the unknown, especially if it potentially can be life changing...an alter takes over and does something stupid that affects all of us negatively...like start smoking pot, doing drugs, hurt someone, judges and jails (been there done that)...
We just going to try to keep trying to control the uncontrollable.

I agree it was creepy knowing for me too, but it got easier, in time I actually welcomed the idea that they were there helping me handle the things that I could not.
i have confidence in you, you will get there, your road maybe a bit bumpy but its worth the trip.
