I have had 2470 calories today. I have walked 10,950 steps. My exersize amounts to 675 calories. So taking 80% of this and adding the result to 2150 gives me 2690 as my target for the day. After the hot cocoa, I may have a snack size packet of shortbread cookies before the day ends. This can boost me another hundred calories closer to my target.

Even though I have had a total of about 80 minutes of cardio exersize this time, which is only counting time when my heart rate was above 123, I now find it difficult to get my heart rate to above 140. This is where the more intense cardio exersize begins. This is where I want my heart rate to be for a good part of the time. So what to do? Look for a place to walk that has hills?

PS I have adjusted my initial calorie goal down to a maintenance level of calories, 2031. I initially had it set for gaining one pound a week.
