If you look up the word 'procrastination' in any dictionary, you will find my name next to it.
That's just how much I procrastinate. If there's an exam I start studying for it properly just the day before. And then I stress and stress and reach breaking point. Not the best feeling.

* I ask someone to check in on me, (usually my mum). That itself is a sort of motivation.
* I try to minimize distractions like my phone or computer and limit calls.
* I do the most unpleasant tasks quickly so I can finish it off and get it out of the way, and then move on to lighter things that I enjoy doing.
* I've got a weird sort of quirk where I really get motivated to finish something before the microwave oven gives off the alarm. And its been proven that doing tasks in quick bursts, like say 15 minutes at a stretch and then a break. My cuckoo clock rings at every 15 minutes, so that definitely helps.
* Also, I motivate myself with chocolate or other sort of rewards.
* I've tried keeping timetables and schedules, but it hasn't worked out much for me. I do, however, make to-do lists and tick off the things I've done. Just seeing those ticked off tasks gives me as sense of relief, like I've done something right.

Hope this helps!
