Anyone have any experience dealing with a debt settlement lawyer. I was going to declare bankruptcy but my situation has somewhat improved. I have a creditor garnishing my wages for 10K and owe about another 10K in other creditors. If the garnishments stop I can afford to pay everything off in monthly installments and rebuild some credit without having to declare. I just need someone helping me to convince garnishment to stop. Any advice on where to start?
