Well thank you for your honesty. That’s a scary story. I’ve never had a full blown manic episode or been hospitalized for mania. I tend mostly to depression with occasional bouts of hypomania, where I talk fast, my thoughts jump around, and sleep less then normal. I was hospitalized once for severe depression decades ago before I was diagnosed with bipolar type 2. I’m going to closely monitor how much I sleep...or don’t.

Maybe I’ll be lucky and get the benefits without mania. Being in this fog is frustrating and depressing.
