I had a horrible time adjusting to progressive glasses. They made me sick and dizzy. It seemed like things were moving in my peripheral vision and it creeped me out.

However, I just got progressive contacts and they are remarkably better than the glasses. I wish I'd gotten them years ago. It did take some trial and error to find a pair that worked for me, but the eye doctor was patient and now I can read a menu again. I still use cheater glasses on top of the contacts for close craft work, but I can read fine without them.
