Hi Tram, I am not a regular poster here but I will give my opinion on this, as no one else has so far. I think your situation 110 feet in the air on a steel beam should certainly qualify you as an exceptional case, but I am not qualified to make that determination. Since it sounds like you have no other options, you should see if you qualify for the stimulant meds through Medi-cal. Even if they say no you should be able to appeal. I tried a stimulant ADHD medication (Methylin ER) once as an adult, it wasn't for me but at least that one is cheap as it's available in generic. So if they don't approve the Vyvanse at least it's something to try that doesn't break the bank. Best of luck to you.
