Do your therapist and pdoc work in the same office? When I was temporarily without a pdoc, the office gave me hard time after I begged them for an emergency pdoc appt. They said, "no, we don't do doctor sharing. You have to wait for your intake appt with your new dr. And we can't change your dr because there are no other drs taking patients." Then when things got really bad (after having psychosis that got worse and worse over 5 ****ing weeks), my therapist intervened and MADE them give me an appt.
