My daughter Dani was accepted at her first choice university today undonditionally (even though they should wait for results from college in August) because they are so impressed with her passion for music, her positive attitude and her amazing composition cd!!!!!

This is an honour and I am very proud of her, I managed not to cry until we'd left the building and had a walk along the beach, I just hugged her and told her how proud I was ...... My eyes welled up in front of her future 'head of music department' but I saved her the embarrassemet of getting emotional there and then ......

CyranO I wanted to let you know this so much because I know you are in the business .... so many people from this particular Uni have gone on to fantastic careers in tv, films and media ....

She is going to be studying music composition/production in media and also some performance .....

The university has 30 studios with all the newest equipment, recording, protool/logic/serbalius (sp) and others I cant remember .....

They all join in together to perform, record, put on shows, theatre, compose music for the performance students etc

We are very proud parents .... just wanted to let you know
