I have done sand trays quite a few times and really enjoy them. They tend to bring things out that I wasn't aware I'd been thinking about.

T has had me draw a couple times with pastels, and I do Active Imaginations out loud occasionally when we're working with a dream.

And last time she got out some clay, I'd never done that before but it was cool I guess, I wasn't sure what to do with it so I just made a blue butterfly.
