Hi,
I go through this a lot and the only thing that works for me, is to not have any trigger foods in the cupboards. Having to get out to the corner store to get a single serving of whatever (Ice cream, chocolate, cake, cookies) helps me alot. But if the overeating concerns other foods like bread, cheese, etc., it can be a struggle. Anxiety, stress, insecurity, boredom and strong emotions of the like seem to make me overeat. Hope you find a personal strategy to get to your goal.
