There's a strategy called "grounding" that has us focus on either our feet or our hands (if we're touching something like a steering wheel). The plan is to draw a breath and begin to focus on those touch points. As we do, we envision our anger channelling out of our body through those areas. Or, in another way, it helps us focus on the present moment and let the anger simply flutter away.
