This is actually not too uncommon - it's known as "schediaphilia" or "toonophilia". There are varying views and opinions on it, although not much actual research has been done on the subject. I've experienced it to some degree myself, but to be honest I figured it was normal.

Considering that you have put effort into making and maintaining relationships with other real people, I don't think that this attraction makes you emotionally lazy. It seems that this is just another aspect of your identity that you must learn to accept, and it's good that you are!
