you could ask your old doc for a recommendation in your new area...

and don't worry about not getting the meds - you have a medical file that can be faxed to your new Dr. or viewed on computer if it's in that type of system - all you need to do is sign permissions with your new Dr. for your files, or bring what you have, like an old rx bottle - that might help speed up the process.
