So far I have walked a total of 10,360 steps. By the end of the day, I do not think it will be much more. The distance traveled on my walking exersize was about 4.6 miles. My average heart rate was 138 bpm, and the peak was 161 bpm. So I have had a really good cardio exersize. I have burned 494 calories on my walk. This makes for a target of 2610 calories. By the end of the day, I will have eaten 2489 calories, which is essentially making my target.

@UpDownAround: Yes, I agree with you on both points. Here is why I am concerned about these details. I spent a chunk of money on my fitness tracker in order to connect up a heart rate chest strap, more accurate steps related to daily activity, and for more accurate calories burned. The watch has been delivering on these requirements so far and more. I am hoping this continues to be the case on calories burned. I want to get my moneys worth out of this thing, or back it goes.

PS MFP assigned a calorie value to everything that is not an exersize, in other words, my daily activities. It is named “Garmin Connect calorie adjustment”. It amounted to 43 calories, so this time I included it on my calories burned calculation.
