One way,IMO, of looking at self esteem is to get involved in life-get a life. If you are just sitting stagnant doing nothing much then you invite low self esteem thinking. Keeping interested in something gives you wings to rise up and see the untruth of those self images. I work with a lot of people. When I find someone complaining about life I offer up the principles of rational thinking and other suggestions. It's interesting how nobody listens but they reply with excuses. Then I ask what is going on here? Could it be the person actually likes their condition? Bob Dylan says in one of his songs "He not busy being born is busy dying."
