Hey Buffy - Just wanted to add that my doc prescribed Lexapro last year when I asked him for something to help deal with my anxiety and anger issues. I had been dealing with things in my life to the extent where I had been averaging about 3 hours of interrupted sleep a night for a few years and that sort of caught up to me. Anyway, I started the Lexapro in May and it helped - a lot. I had no side-effects while on the medication. Even though I still had to be up and not get much sleep - I was not angry or anxious. Then, my reason for not getting much sleep or even relaxation ended about 3 weeks ago and I stopped the Lexapro - flat out. For a few days I had some intermittant mild dizziness but that was it. No real withdrawal side-effects.
