I had occasion to be faced with a pet peeve yesterday. I was picking up a vehicle from the shop yesterday evening. There were people and groups ahead of me. The clerk bypassed all the people ahead of me to assist me first. Apparently the people of colour in line in front of me were invisible to her. I get really quite upset when such things happen. It is absolutely inexcusable behaviour. While I was in a rush, it was quite unfair to the others in line and I quite sternly told her all these people were there first.
