I agree that it is not silly at all. Could you limit yourself to just one sentence a day or even just one word describing your thoughts or emotions for the day? (Assuming you journal every day.) Possibly limiting your expectation could help you continue to journal. You’ve already made a start by posting here. It’s right there in your post for you to see in real life that your parents are getting a divorce. I hope that it can take away that initial sting that we avoid like that plague.
