I'm sorry you are struggling with so much depression.

I recall having replied to your introductory post. Actually you are able to receive replies to your posts, including your first 5 posts. (You've received this reply now.)

It's just that your first 5 posts have to be reviewed & approved by the Moderators before they are released to the general community. Once your first 5 posts have been reviewed & approved, your subsequent posts will appear as soon as you submit them.
Things tend to move pretty quickly here on PC. It can take a while to become known. However the more you post, & reply to other members' posts, the more a part of the community you will become.
Yes it is true there are a lot of people here who are in great pain.

But I suspect too that this gets amplified to some extent as well because this is a safe & accepting place for people with mental health issues to share their pain. So we probably do have a tendency sometimes to magnify our issues to some extent. So many of us have no one else to talk to (except maybe a therapist or a psychiatrist.) PsychCentral is the place where we can "let it all hang out", as we used to say.

So we do!
It is true too, though, that PsychCentral can sometimes be an intense place.

And so one does have to guard oneself. Sometimes it is necessary to cut back for a period of time, or perhaps even leave altogether either for a brief period, for a longer period, or even permanently in some cases.

(This is my second time around here on PC.) Taken as a whole though I think you'll find, at least I hope you'll find, PC to be safe harbor. Please keep posting!
