I first received my diagnosis after having been previously diagnosed with panic disorder. My first T believed it was panic disorder because the panic attacks were the most prevalent symptom. When I moved and switched to my T/psychologist, he discovered it was really PTSD. So that's how I got my Dx initially.


Yes a can dx it too, mine was dx by a SS p doc who an employment counselor sent me to, it was directly tied in to my ability to work.
