Back in October I suffered kidney failure due to heavy alcohol abuse. I was on life support and in a drug induced coma for two weeks received multiple dialysis treatments and spent a month in the hospital recovering. I had psychosis and hallucinations regularly and truly believed them. The most vivid nightmarish episodes. Has anyone had similar experience I goto a mental health counseling but I misunderstood my symptoms and associated them with early stages of sobriety. Stress anxiety panic attacks and possible medication reaction. So I focused my sessions with my counselor on talking about my sobriety and my progress health wise not realizing the symptoms I was having I believe to be trauma related.I was just curious if anyone's had similar experience I could talk to.
