I think there is so much stigma against weed. You don't often here people raging on against alcohol and cigarettes, though those killed my parents (one drunk walked in front of a car and one pancreatic cancer).

The truth is that like any drug it works for some people and not for others. I had been warned about the potential for psychosis in bipolar. However I was an occasional smoker before hand so I felt comfortable.

There are so many different types and strains you have to do your research. The oils were fabulous, but they made my reflex worse. Edibles are awesome, but they are incredibly potent. You would never eat a whole brownie unless you have a super high tolerance. I also have pipes, bongs and a vaporizer to smoke. Each one is different.

Here when you get your script you meet with someone after who discusses all this stuff with You, which is nice. I'm also a member in two cannabis clubs and they are full of information.

Yes it reduces anxiety for me. Yes it helps me sleep. Yes I also enjoy getting backed and relaxing as I can be so wound up.

I'm not saying everyone should use cannabis. All I'm saying is its a valid option. I have a couple friends even (legally) growing their own plants. The medical opinions around cannabis are changing.
