If she couldn't hang around with the IT crowd it was no one. I went for a job and out of 50 people I got down to the last three. And the person who landed the job was somebody I Knew. It stung to begin with. Through the grape vine I heard that the employer chose you because of your ethnic background and he could gain brownie points/kudos claiming to be a multi-diverse company. I knew that wasn't the whole picture.
He made the right decision. If anyone has a sunny disposition then you fitted the bill. Well done
