When I first started having symptoms I had no clue what was going on. It took about a year before I was correctly diagnosed. I had no problems with taking meds. I thought of the year long experience I had on the wrong med (for depression). It flipped me into full mania and it was terrible. I just wanted the correct meds for my diagnoses. Because of meds I’m able to cook meals for my daughter again, drive her to school, pick her up etc.
