I hate when people compare others by saying "everyone struggles with that." It's them insultingly brushing off your problems, which is an awful thing to do. It's neither supportive nor helpful. If someone is struggling and admits to it, it's them reaching out for help, for support. Why reject it or make it seem unimportant? What do you or others gain by doing that? Disgusting behavior imo.

A lot of people just don't "get it," and I'm sorry you have to go through this. It's very unfair, and, as I said before, insulting.

I'm happy you speak up for yourself. You're doing a great job. I'm sure someone, somewhere out there cares about you. I care about you.

I don't get support either, except from my therapist.
