I am struggling with a specific situation: my daughter. But her troubles have affected me so greatly I feel like going in the hospital. However, I am not suicidal and I feel guilty leaving my husband home to cope alone. He is a good guy. I also have therapists and a psychiatrist helping me. But I am just sunk.

My daughter has bipolar and is a teacher. She is having trouble with a bully of a principal. This woman criticizes my daughter and my daughter just melts down. It's partially my daughter's problem and part this rude woman. My daughter was hospitalized last month for SI. When she got out, her doctors all agreed she needed to go back to work as soon as possible. She was lucky enough to get a new position for next year away from this principal. There are only a few school days left. My daughter is also enrolling in a DBT skills class to help learn to deal with unpleasant people. She is on meds.

We are getting desperate texts from her every day. She cries in the morning before school. This is sending my own bipolar in a tailspin. The hospital is looking good. Please help me with advice if you can. I need encouragement to move forward in some way. Thank you...this means a lot to have support.
