I'm pretty sensitive to various sensory input including sound, touch, and very specific smells. I'm bothered by so many different things...trains and other heavy vehicles, having the windows rolled down in a car (so a mixture of wind and traffic sounds), things clanging together (like dishes or someone dumping a bunch of poker chips on a table), and especially competing sound sources such as practice rooms in a university music school (although multiple voices don't bother me as much for some reason). That will cause "meltdowns" for lack of a better word. Anything loud and in certain timbre will bother me and my ability to just "suck it up" will come down to what mood I'm in. If I'm in a good mood, I can deal with quite a bit. My current job and dream job include quite a bit of sensory overload (especially when it comes to sound).

I have no idea why, but the touch and sound issues have been ongoing since I was a child. I have no idea how to get help for it as it seems that I have to know everything I went through as a child to get a diagnosis or any help and I don't remember enough.
