And even if this psychologist is right and you do have DID,it was very unprofessional of her to throw that dx on you during the first meeting.She doesn't know you or anything about you or your system to know what the reaction would be.

She didn't know how unstable it would make you,whether it would cause you to become suicidal or whatever.And you don't know her either, there's no relationship or trust yet,she should already know that and should have been concerned about your wellbeing before diagnosing you and then sending you on your way to deal with the afterrmath.

I'm sorry you threw up on the way home.I don't have DID myself but I know someone who does and I have read quite a bit about it.Your psychologist raises some huge red flags and I would think twice about continuing to see her if I were you.She doesn't seem to be as good as the reviews you read about her and you should proceed with caution.

She may be a great foensic psychologist but may not have any experience with trauma and dissociation.I would be checking into that if I were you.
