It is quite very common here for Psychologists to do therapy. The Psychologist that I am seeing has a Partner/Psychiatrist who owns the building and she works in tandem with. She does the testing and some therapy BUT sends the clients to him for Medication management. She also has 4 therapists that work under her. I will be seeing 1 of them as well. She is going to see me in the beginning, then transition me to her therapist.

My granddaughter sees a child Psychologist for her therapy. She was exposed to a mess before we got her and her brother. MANY Psychologists do testing/Therapy depending on insurance and the Psychiatrists do the medication.
Thanks for this!
