Yes, I hear you. Some childhood photos I remember places and things, very rarely I recall the exact event or time. Because childhood was spent in one place with certain people being there as a recurring theme it is less jarring.
Adulthood photos are problematic for me. I think people are "supposed" to remember things, or at least other people seem to be able to. I have many many photos that I have no recall of either people places or things and clothing also that is very unfamiliar and uncharacteristic for me. I mean I obviously owned those clothes because they keep appearing in photos but I don't ever remember them or having them in my closet even.
ETA I don't feel dizzy or sick I just have nothing at all. No clue, no response. My body isn't even defending a memory I just don't know at all.
